We got a chance to chat with the turtleneck-loving star backstage about his own sense of fashion and which of his Breaking Dawn costars he thinks has the best sense of style.

So which fashion-forward Twilight hunk gets Emmett Cullen's seal of approval?

"Out of our cast, Jackson probably has the best male style," Kellan said of the Singapore native, who plays Jasper Cullen in the films. "He rocks those cowboy boots like no other."

But don't worry, Team Edward and Team Jacob: Kellan thinks Taylor Lautner has "great style," and Robert Pattinson? "He has his own thrown-together-but-looks-amazing style."

I promise it’s not false modesty though. There are very, very few actors whose name you know… even people like me and Rob Pattinson, who are at the moment big names and bankable – whatever that means – there are very few actors whose saying yes to something would mean a green light for that film. I think probably George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Johnny Depp, are the only three that have that kind of pull, and that comes from how they’ve had very long careers and are universally respected as actors and as professionals. So there’s a long way to go before we’re at that stage.

Joseph is the latest addition to the series playing Klaus and spoke exclusively to omg! about how a franchise such as Twilight would affect the success of its male lead:

"Provided he didn't mess it all up, Robert was guaranteed a fan base thanks to Twilight," Joseph told us.

"His character is iconic and there's a huge following of the books but there's a tremendous amount of pressure that comes with that."

The gravitas of playing a heartthrob is something the 30-year-old actor can relate to as he explained how much passion fans have for the parts he and RPattz play.

"People have their own very distinctive ideas of how a character should be portrayed especially when you're playing a vampire."

But this is something Robert does flawlessly, as Joseph adds it's not just Edward Cullen who turned him into a superstar.

"Having the talent helped, Robert is quite charming and humble in the press during interviews which helps.

"I do worry thought that after Vampire Diaries finishes how many fans will come with me to watch other projects that I do and if it's just the vampire phenomenon that made us [me and Robert] famous. It's harder for Robert though."

Judging by Joseph's looks, we don't think it's just talent or the acting gig he's got that draws the fans in but it's clearly something he worries about.

"It's too early to say if I think I've been typecast, but I've been forced to take on different roles but I'm not going to lie I have done jobs just to pay the rent."

Naturally we had to ask if he'd like to reach the dizzy Hollywood heights that Robert has to which he replied rather diplomatically…

"That guy is more famous than anyone at the moment, of course I'd like to have Robert Pattinson's career but I don't like the whole celebrity aspect of it.

"I'm not interested in having a photo shoot in a magazine it allows people to buy into you too much. I'm not against talking about my personal life but I don't want it to be a soap opera.
"I'm not saying Robert's is, but he can't escape it - like the gossip around who is he dating, I don't want all that."

But that's what we REALLY need to know! Our final question to the actor was if he watched Twilight in preparation for his role in Vampire Diaries…

"I watched the first one but didn't want to play it the same as Robert.

"I thought he was good, there are so many parallels drawn between Twilight and Vampire Diaries that it was better for me not to watch it."

It is an unsettling premise that a handsome young man can pick off the wives of powerful men. Twilight made him a heartthrob ... and Robert Pattison is ramping up his sexual adventures in his new film which is previewed at Glasgow Film Festival. He talks to Will Lawrence:

"There are lots of attractive women in the film," says Robert Pattinson of his latest screen release, Bel Ami.

"Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas..." He pauses before flashing a smile. "And I sleep with all of them!"

After five years cocooned in a teenage Twilight world of angst, anger, vampires and werewolves (in which sleeping with people is a complicated process), the 25-year-old Englishman clearly enjoyed this romp through 19th-century Paris.

Perhaps the best known of the six novels by French short story writer Guy de Maupassant, Bel Ami is certainly his most subversive, savage and ironic piece, charting the tale of Georges Duroy, a young man who travels through 1890s' Paris, from cockroach-plagued garrets to magnificent salons, employing his wits and beauty as he bids to rise from poverty to fame.
The story comes to the big screen in March — previewed by early screenings at the Glasgow Film Festival later this month — courtesy of theatre directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod, who have put together a piece that resonates strongly today, regardless of its period setting.

"This character uses sex and women's huge attraction for him to get to the top of the pile," says Donnellan of Duroy. "It's an unremitting world and, in the end, he gets the lot. There are no consequences for him. People think it's very modern, somebody getting to the top with very little talent. Duroy has an enormous desire to get to the top, and that is his talent. It's about incredibly modern themes. That's one of the thrills of doing this story. It is set in 1890s' Paris but it would almost be too near to the bone to do it now."

To bring the laconic and lovely-looking Duroy to life, the directors turned to Twilight star Pattinson, one of the most desired men on the planet, whose real-life journey, while not quite mirroring the lothario lifestyle of his character, has certainly benefited from his exquisite good looks.

"My Bel Ami guy doesn't have a conscience," explains Pattinson. "Most fictional characters are driven by some target, but he is like a reverse character. He's so content to do nothing and thinks everything should just be given to him. But if someone slights him, or directs any insult at him, the most overwhelming energy grabs him and he turns into this absolute devil who will do anything."

An attack on the invidious French society of the time, the Maupassant story is dark and rather disturbing in places, but few could argue with its no-holds-barred candour.

"It's like in Giant," Pattinson continues, referring to the 1956 George Stevens picture starring James Dean, "when he builds the entire empire to say 'f*** you'. Duroy is exactly like that but without any of the redeeming characteristics. The whole story is about these people trying to beat him down into remorse, and just as he's about to touch it, something good happens to him again.

"And then he has another run of luck, right at the end, until eventually he stabs everyone in the back and then wins the lottery. It's a happy ending for him and no-one else."

Given the contrast between the caddish Duroy and Pattinson's chivalrous Twilight character, Edward Cullen, it's tempting to think that the actor has selected Bel Ami as a conscious bid to show his range, to prove that there's more to his make-up than a fiendish pout and excellent hair.

"Doing something like Twilight opens doors and it closes others. You can say, 'Oh if I was still unknown, then no-one would judge me,' but at the same time, nobody would give a s*** either." He laughs. "It's a weird little balance. And, most of the time, you are just completely guessing what people do, so I suppose doing scripts that you think are good is the way to go. And that's what I thought about Bel Ami.

'With Bel Ami, though, I guess there is something quite fun about going from Edward Cullen to playing a guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them.

"Edward so wouldn't approve! So, yes, I thought that was a funny irony. But the story, independently, is great, and I only thought about the irony afterwards. The thing that stands out in the story in Bel Ami is just his behaviour —the women that he manages to screw over are all attracted to him to begin with and so he starts having affairs with them and destroys their lives afterwards. That's kind of nuts. But, to answer your question, I don't think about doing things just because they are different from Twilight, no. Honestly, Bel Ami was just such an intriguing film."

"He was really able to touch the human emotions of that scene. Rob really nailed it," Stephenie recalled. "It was really powerful. I teared up, several people near me did. It was just a lump in your throat—that moment of thinking you've lost everything and not being able to accept it. It was really emotional."

Yet, as fraught as that life-or-death moment was, we can't help but smile at the quick shot of director Bill Condon fist-pumping when Rob nailed it. Very sweet.

I play an art saleswoman who has sex with a rich young man, played by Robert Pattinson, who is trying to sell her paintings. I shot two days, in a highly cronenberguien, that is to say quite distant while shooting, but warm at the start and finish. It was in front a green background, in a limousine with a camera directed at a distance, David talked through a microphone. At first I was intoxicated with the idea of playing a sort of berserk. But at the end of the scene, she finds herself in a lonely miserable. Leaving the movie, I felt badly. And that’s exactly what David wanted to tell: the illusion of prosperity and the sense of a world that falls and loses

In addition to her successes as an actress and her respectable reputation, Reese Witherspoon is the envy of millions of Twilighters after working alongside superstar heartthrob Robert Pattinson in not one, but two films — not to mention the fact that she's kissed him too.

When MTV News caught up with Witherspoon recently as part of "MTV First: This Means War," we asked her the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of her "Water for Elephants" and "Vanity Fair" co-star.

"I would say [he is] the hardest-working person I've ever worked with, honestly," she said. "[He's] professional, hard-working, so appreciative, more grateful than I've ever seen anyone for where he is in life."

Given the fact that Witherspoon has been in the business for decades and experienced every facet of being famous, we asked her to weigh in on the current fan frenzy that surrounds Pattinson wherever he goes and how it may or may not affect a person.

Eric Packer is about to embark upon the worst car ride of his life. Thankfully, Robert Pattinson — the actor who plays Packer in "Cosmopolis" — doesn't share his character's fate.

Pattinson fans came out in full force to elect "Cosmopolis" the winner of the MTV Movie Brawl 2012, a weeks-long tournament that pitted several of 2012's biggest releases against one another to determine which film is the must-see cinematic event of the year. After tense battles against titans like "Bel Ami," "The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn: Part 2," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Hunger Games," it's Pattinson's upcoming indie thriller that took home the grand prize.

It's a surprising result for many onlookers, given that "Cosmopolis" has yet to release a trailer and only has a tentative release date of 2012. But Rob's fans rallied behind their man, opting to support his future in "Cosmopolis" over his past in "Twilight" — a commanding decision from a massive fanbase that demands attention, to say the least. In fact, the movement was so strong that it even caught "Cosmopolis" director David Cronenberg's eye even before the film won the brawl for it all. Shortly after the victory was announced, Cronenberg got on the phone with MTV News to talk about what "Cosmopolis" winning the MTV Movie Brawl means for the film, Pattinson's performance, when fans can expect to see a trailer and much more.

MTV: David, thanks for talking with us! Have you been filled in on what's happened with "Cosmopolis" over here?

David Cronenberg: You know, I've been following it! I'm shocked! I'm shocked and amazed and really tickled. It proves that movie fans are unpredictable and really interesting and really passionate. It's fantastic. I would have never, ever imagined that this would happen.

MTV: How did the tournament first get on your radar?

Cronenberg: Somebody sent me something and said, "Hey, we seem to be doing OK in this Movie Brawl thing that MTV's got going on." I didn't know about it. At that point, we were struggling with "The Dark Knight," I think. I thought, "Wow, that's pretty impressive!" Because "Cosmopolis," while I think in terms of what it is as cinema is pretty hefty, but in terms of budget and promotion, it's an underdog compared to something like "The Dark Knight" franchise. I really didn't think we would have much of a chance. That really got my attention.

MTV: What's kind of incredible, too, is that right before that battle with Batman, "Cosmopolis" was up against "Twilight." It was Rob versus Rob! In what we saw, it seemed that fans were putting their votes towards Rob's future instead of his past.

Cronenberg: Well, and I think that's one of the things that I meant when I said it was interesting. Because that's not the kind of thing you would predict. But it was really terrific, and in that sense, they're right. As I've said many times, if you're a "Twilight" fan, then you might not be interested in "Cosmopolis" because Rob is not Mr. Cullen. But if you're a Rob fan, then you've got to be interested in "Cosmopolis," because you will see him as you have not seen him before, for sure.

MTV: Clearly, there is a lot of interest in this movie, seeing that it came out ahead over movies like "Dark Knight," "Twilight" and "Hunger Games." There is a lot of attention on Rob, of course. Can you talk about your experience working with Rob, and the kind of actor you found him to be over the course of shooting "Cosmopolis"?

Cronenberg: He's terrific. He deserves the affection that the fans have for him. He's incredibly sweet, he's very funny, he's very bright and he's also very knowledgeable about cinema. Not just movies but the history of cinema. He knows a lot about it. He's just a sweetheart. And he's totally professional. He's always right there. We had a lot of fun shooting [the movie] because, as I say, he has a great sense of humor. We just played a lot. I think that's a really great tone that's set for everybody on the set. The lead actor has a really big influence on the tone of the shoot. If you've got a guy who's very difficult and neurotic or whatever, they can't help but affect everybody's day. But Rob is not like that. He's just a ray of sunshine. In fact, he's in absolutely every scene of the movie, so obviously his temperament would have a huge influence on how the shoot went ... and it was a dream. It was a beautiful shoot.

MTV: I think one of the reasons why some are surprised with how this tournament played out is that most of the films that were competing have trailers. This one doesn't — at least not yet! When can fans expect to see a trailer?

Cronenberg: We feel probably that this won't be released until next fall. It's not exactly a summer movie and it won't be ready for a while. The movie is finished, but something that fans maybe don't know is how long it takes a movie to get released. You want to do a couple of film festivals, the studios in each country have to get their materials ready. The photographs, the trailers, everything ... it takes a lot of time, you know? The other thing is, we kind of want to keep things a little bit of a secret until we unleash it on the world. We're pretty excited about it and we don't really want to let too much out about what it is and how it plays.

MTV: In terms of when this is coming out, you said perhaps fall of this year. So there's no firm release date just yet?
Cronenberg: No, not at all. It's been sold to a lot of countries and distributors around the world, but for example, it does not yet have U.S. distribution. That's fine, because we didn't want to look for it until we had the finished film. But frankly, the Movie Brawl results might well help us get some good U.S. distribution! [He laughs.] I just thought of that, but you know, it's possible! It's interesting to hear that indication of interest before you even release a trailer — that's pretty darn good. But you can't release a trailer until you have a distributor, and a distributor has to really have all the material, so it takes a while.

MTV: Well, something close to 6 million votes were cast in this tournament, and almost 4 million were cast in this final poll alone. The numbers do not lie.

Cronenberg: That's fantastic. That's just great. That's just great.

MTV: In the spirit of this tournament, what's the movie you're most excited to see in 2012? What's the film you can't wait to get your eyes on?
Cronenberg: You know, I'm so focused on what I've been doing that I actually don't know what's around! It's strange. I haven't even caught up with last year's films. I have a movie out now called "A Dangerous Method" with Keira Knightley, Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen. I've been touring the world promoting that, been to a ton of film festivals, but I haven't had a chance to see any of the movies, because I'm constantly having to do interviews and stuff for that. Now, that's calmed down now that the movie has finally been released in the U.S., but the result is that I'm way behind on everything.

MTV: So you've got to catch up on 2011 before moving onto 2012.

Cronenberg: That's right! Let me catch up first, and then I'll start thinking about 2012.

MTV: Finally, any last messages to the "Cosmopolis" fans who pushed this movie to the top?

Cronenberg: They won't be disappointed in Rob. He is fantastic.

Casting
"We asked actors that we really wanted to work with, people that we have admired for a long time, explains Donnellan of their casting choices. "Kristin Scott Thomas we know of old. Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Robert Pattinson we have always admired. There’s also Colm Meaney, a wonderful Irish actor who plays Rousset and Phillip Glenister. They are all actors we love."

Ormerod and Donnellan were thrilled to be working with such a diverse cast. Donnellan describes the moment that the actors turned up for rehearsals. "It was absolutely fantastic to see them arriving one after another. They are all incredibly professional and great fun with wicked senses of humour in their own different ways; Uma, Kristin and Christina are all very different people. We had a ball, an absolutely wonderful time because the material was so fantastic, the roles and screenplay are fantastic. Everybody felt like they were being stretched, especially us because it was our first movie. Kristin, Christina, Uma and Robert would all agree that they were doing things they hadn’t done before, which was what made it so thrilling."

Talking about Georges' costumes
Dicks-Mireaux explains how the costumes she designed for Georges help to tell the story of his progression throughout the film. "He wears black virtually all the way. Maupassant writes very clearly about starching, and we spend a lot of time and effort on the shirts. This period is a very transitional period between the boiled shirt and the pleated shirt so we’ve done a combination of the two. We’ve engineered this ingenious way of making sure we can always have the stiff cuffs. I’ve gone for very high collars on Robert because he suits them really well and it makes them all stand up correctly. If you look at the British royal family they seem to wear a slightly broader look. You look at the French drawings and they seem to have a much tighter, narrower look - a bit like Christian Dior suits: that very pinched, nice, narrow, elegant, long lined leg. He had a journey and then right at the end of the journey he sort of dips and goes a little bit more bourgeois and slightly pompous. He thought he might have a moustache at the end."

Georges 'Bel Ami' Duroy
The central character of Georges was a complex and captivating subject for Rachel Bennette, as she explains. "Georges is a difficult character, that’s what makes him so fascinating. He’s quite enigmatic in certain respects and he’s not a typical character in many ways. He’s very reactive as opposed to the active protagonist that you’re used to. So it was a question of trying to get the measure of him."

"He never works and he still gets it all. That’s what’s so maddening about Georges Duroy," Donnellan concurs. "He gets the lot with no effort and it’s something we have to live with. Georges has a talent to get to the top and he’s a businessman with one commodity to sell. Another thrilling thing about Georges is his emptiness; people can project anything into him which is another reason why he’s so successful."

Bennette concludes: "I find Georges really compelling, even if I don’t always like him. There’s something about his audacity, and his daring, and his absolute refusal to be told his place. And there is something quite appealing about that: essentially it is a kind of mad courage that he has."

More than 3 million votes were cast to push the David Cronenberg-directed indie over brand-new franchise 'The Hunger Games.'

The final buzzer has sounded, the brawl for it all is over, and Robert Pattinson is the last man standing: "Cosmopolis" has won MTV Movie Brawl 2012.

His indie drama made for one hell of a Cinderella story in the vote-driven tournament to pick the must-see movie of the year. Entering the bracket as a #4 seed (following an impressive showing in the play-in round), "Cosmopolis" appeared to be facing an unavoidable Elite Eight ouster. What were the chances Pattinson's cerebral film about a young finance wiz taking a day-long limo ride though New York City would beat "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"? Apparently pretty good. Fans banded together, choosing to support RPattz's post-vampire career rather than the franchise that made him a star. "Breaking Dawn" was sent packing.

And so, after easily fighting off "The Dark Knight Rises," "Cosmopolis" came to face "The Hunger Games," a brand-new franchise that had waltzed through the tournament and seemed to be the odds-on favorite to win the whole tourney. But it was not to be. After more than 3 million votes and a slew of lead changes, Pattinson's film beat back Jennifer Lawrence's series to become the undisputed champion of the Movie Brawl.

Hours before voting closed Monday afternoon (January 23), with "Cosmopolis" staking out an insurmountable lead and the MTV Movies team at the Sundance Film Festival, we broke the news to Pattinson's co-star, Paul Giamatti, that their film had won the tournament.

"Holy cow, that's astounding!" he said. "The fact of that is amazing. ... That's a really cool thing that it brings that visibility to that movie."

It's been a whirlwind few weeks in the tournament, so we'd like to thank all the fans who voted. The Brawl broke bigger than we could have ever hoped. Well over 5 million votes were cast. The competition spread wildly over Twitter and Facebook. Our comments sections caught fire as fans debated, argued and rallied. In the end, though, only one film could stand as the undisputed champion of the MTV Movie Brawl. Russia knows him thanks to his numerous performances in Moscow artistic academic theatre (MHAT) and in Pushkin's theatre and even in Bolshoy theatre. Declan managed to combine outstanding cast for this film. "Bel ami" Georges Duroy is Robert Pattinson, who is free finally from his vampire saga. He has in movie love affairs with wonderful actresses Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott Thomas and so on. Everything was filmed in London and Budapest. But the action is meant to be in Paris.

At what point in the filming process will you come onboard? Is the film usually finished by the time you see it and set the score?
Generally, I don’t actually write anything until a film has actually been shot. But, there are some exceptions.
In the movie I’m working on right now, which is “Breaking Dawn: Part II,” they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen. I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could actually learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly.

Another star leading the way for British talent is Twilight star Robert Pattinson – someone Holliday knows pretty well.

The talented twosome star in forthcoming flick Bel Ami, with Holliday playing Robert‘s love interest – it’s a tough job eh?

The Jane Eyre actress had no nerves when it came to puckering up with Rob, as she knew him pre-Twilight days, when they both appeared in 2007 film The Bad Mother's Handbook.

Holliday said: "I've worked with him pre-Twilight so I wasn't massively scared having to go in there and snog him.”

When asked if Rob had changed since becoming a global heartthrob, she laughed: "No, not at all. He's a lovely guy. Always has been."

Before he became the vampire Edward Cullen, girls hadn’t really turned after him. Today they pass out even mentioning his name. We talked with the British actor, Robert Pattinson about filming the last installment of the Twilight movies, asked him why he never goes to the gym and if he minds the woman’s attention.

Is London still your home?
It is. I think it always will be. You can’t replace it. Now I’m away from it so much, I know that now. I used to live in Soho and I went back there at Christmas and I don’t know anything there and it’s kind of – it’s incredibly depressing. It’s such a solid place for you in your mind. When you go back there it’s completely different. Because when you’re living here you never think anything changes, it’s always exactly the same. And then you leave for four years and it’s like nothing is the same.

What do you miss about London when you’re abroad?
I miss the newspapers. I love reading the sport section and the news from the world. It’s better (in London) than here. In US there is only American news.

What about the internet?

I’ve never read the news on the internet. I love holding the paper in my hands in the morning, it’s like a part of everyday life. I use to eat my breakfast reading the paper, but here they have the wrong size. I love those broadsheet papers, like The Times. It’s easy to browse.

What happened to your hair? It’s not too short?

Yeah, I had to get it cut for a new movie I am doing. But it will grow back, I hope.

How do you feel about the Twilight Saga coming to an end?

I am sad, of course. It’s been such an adventure, such a ride. I made new incredible friends that will be with me forever.

Share one of your fondest memories with us.

The honeymoon that we shot in Brazil, that was pretty amazing. I would go back there if I could. I fell in love with that country.

And one of the not so fun experiences?

Well, I had to take my shirt off right next to Taylor (Lautner). And I am sure you all know what a superb specimen that guy is. He makes me look like such a whimp (laughs).

What is it like to be working with beautiful women on the set of this movie?

It’s great, it’s really nice being surrounded by hot girls all the time. It’s the best thing ever. Hey, it’s why I became an actor!

Because of playing the role of the vampire Edward Cullen you had to wear contact lenses all the time and you had to be very pale. What was worse?

Oh, the contact lenses for sure. They were pretty tight, and at times they were painful too. That’s one thing I won’t be missing much. I don’t mind being pale. I am British, we are not supposed to tan much in the first place (laughs).

Do you think you will keep in touch with all the other actors from the movie?

Well, I hope so. I don’t know if we will all call each other all the time. In this business, you need to move around so much. It makes it very difficult to stay in touch with others.

Do you think Breaking Dawn will truly be the end of the Twilight saga?

Wouldn’t that be funny if they came out with something like “Twilight, Eclipse, Brunch…” No, I think it’s up to Stephanie. If she wants to write a spin off or another book, I am game, I am in.

Do you have a favorite scene in this movie?

I think the birth scene is so different to everything else in the movie. And also, for a fantasy, it has a young audience, but it goes quite far. It’s quite graphic.

You are doing major press events for this movie all over the world. You are at Comic Con which is a big comic convention. What are the nerdiest things that you have found out about each other?

I wouldn’d say Kristen is nerdy. She, literally, is a cooking fan. She’s a nerd when it comes to cooking. Especially on set. It was bizarre. She’d be in the trailer and the cooking channel was always on.

What will you miss about your character?

I liked how understanding Edward was. I liked that he was old school. I think that’s cool. I will miss that.

You have fans all over the planet. Girls and their mothers both love you. How it feels to look in the mirror and see that man of everyone’s attention?

It’s strange. Before Twilight nobody thought I’m good looking. It’s funny how the world can change and then everyone see you in a different picture.

Are you creeped out by all the attention you have been getting from the ladies over the years?

I am not creeped out at all by it. You’d just have to be creeped out by women in general, which I am not (laughs).

Do you still go grocery shopping, or it’s not that much of a relaxation anymore?

I still love to, when I lived in Baton Rouge it was a lot easier, but for some reason, I don’t know why, I don’t have any time for it now. I’m working seven days a week, so these days I just kind of can’t do it…

And how you relax?

I don’t. I’m glad to have a few days off, though. Oh, how pathetic that sounds (laughs). I can have a good sleep.

How your dream day off looks like?

I couldn’t even imagine. I just sit around, I’m like incredibly boring, I try and watch films, but my concentration now is so short. I watch like 20 minutes of a film and I play this game on the iPhone called Fall Down. It’s so much fun, it involves absolutely no brain effort from your brain whatsoever, you just hold this little ball and roll it down. I can literally sit there and play it for sixteen hours.

It’s like meditation.

Yeah, and that’s all I do on my day off, I just sit there and get more and more frustrated (laughs).

Do you do sports or anything, work out?

At the beginning of this last Twilight movie, I was working out quite a lot because I had to have my shirt off all the time. I was doing that obsessively and I got into really eating more healthy. I was going to the gym all the time and cycling everywhere, and I was really into it. Then as soon as I finished, I just stopped dead. And I haven't gone to the gym since.

What makes you happy outside working?

I still love playing the piano. I was in New Orleans the other day and I was playing with the band from New Orleans Salvation and with a band earlier, and I was like 'Jesus, why don't I do this anymore?' It was amazing.

You had a plan to be a pianist, right?

I did, I still love it the same. My favorite is blues.

What have you learnt the last few years?

That you can’t satisfy everyone.

And how did you learn that?

I tried it. (laughs)

Madeleine Stowe gives an 'Unbound Captives' update & mentions Rob!

Robert Pattinson is so beloved by "Unbound Captives" producer Madeleine Stowe that she may consider altering a character in the film's script so that the "Twilight Saga" star can take the role.

MTV News caught up with Stowe on the Golden Globes red carpet and asked her whether there is any chance of RPattz being in the upcoming film. After all, when we last talked to Pattinson, he suggested that he might now be too old for the role.

"The character was conceptualized as an 18-year-old," Stowe acknowledged. When asked if she would be willing to age up the role so he could still take the part, she said with a laugh, "We might. We might just do that. We'll see how it all falls."

It wasn't just the "Twilight" phenomenon that is causing Stowe to be willing to jump through hoops for Pattinson. She explained that she met him before he joined the first "Twilight" film and "fell deeply in love with him" then.

Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz are also currently attached to the project. In fact, Jackman recently told MTV News that it's "one of the best scripts I've read in a long time."

With Pattinson's commitment to "Cosmopolis" over with, he seemingly has an open slate ahead of him. Stowe said that Pattinson's decision to come onboard "Unbound Captives" is strictly in his camp.

"It's going to be sort of up to Robert. We're looking at 2013 [for a release date] right now," Stowe said.
